On the banks of Lake Eufaula, a 45,000 acre lake that is otherwise known as the “Bass Capital of The World”, lies the picture perfect 1,200 acre Lakepoint Resort State Park. Inside the park you will find a lodge, convention center, Free wireless internet access at the Marina Grill, modern campground, vacation cabins, lakeside cottages, picnic areas, 18-hole golf course and a marina complete with launch facilities and boat slips, making this the ultimate meeting place and vacation area combination.

Lakepoint Lodge has 101 guest rooms, six of those being executive suites. Each has a 32” flat screen TV, small fridge, coffee pot, hair dryer and iron with ironing board. The executive suites include a king size bed, bath, kitchenette with large fridge and microwave, dining area and separate sitting area. Flat screen TV’s are in the bedroom and sitting area. Wireless internet access is available in all room as well as the Convention Center. The Lodge has nine separate areas for banquets, weddings, reunions, meetings and receptions, with several of them overlooking the water. From 10-500 people, the facilities can accommodate people in total comfort. Weddings and receptions would be exceptionally beautiful if hosted on the Lakeside Terrace overlooking the water.

Water’s Edge Restaurant overlooks Lake Eufaula, so sit down and enjoy a great meal coupled with a beautiful view. Not ready for a full meal? Have a snack or favorite drink in the Pier’s End Bar & Grille across from the restaurant and main lobby.

There are 29 cabins still available at Lakepoint State Park Resort that are two and four bedroom, as well as 10 lakeside cottages ranging from one bedroom to four bedroom duplexes. The 18-hole golf course is open to the public, along with the marina and campground.

Lakepoint Resort State Park has eight new lakeside cottages ranging from one bedroom to 2 four bedroom duplexes. Each include hardwood floor living rooms, slate tile fully-equipped kitchens, dining table & chairs, baths, carpeted bedrooms, TV’s with DVD/VCRs, alarm clock radios, telephones, hair dryers, irons with ironing boards, porches with rocking chairs overlooking Lake Eufaula, charcoal grills, outdoor electrical outlets to charge boat batteries and access to a lakeside picnic pavilion. All cottages are non smoking and no pets are permitted. There is a two night minimum required and a three night minimum on major holidays. Half of each four bedroom duplex is handicap accessible throughout.

The 29 cabins in Lakepoint Resort State Park include 15 two bedroom units and 7 four bedroom duplexes. The two bedroom cabins include a king bed and 2 twin beds, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, fireplace, carpeting and central heat/air. These units sleep 1-4 persons. The four bedroom duplexes include 2 king beds, 4 twin beds, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchen & dining areas, carpet and central heat/air. These units sleep 1-8 persons. Cabins are supplied with linens, towels, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, cooking & eating utensils, TV’s with Dish network, charcoal grill, picnic table and outside plug-ins for charging boat batteries. There are no telephones in the cabins. There are handicap accessible two and four bedroom unit available.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in three designated cabins for an extra fee. Rules do apply.

Lakepoint Resort State Park provides 245 improved campsites in the campground. There are pull through sites with water, electricity and sewage. Loop sites include water and electricity. Camping services include bathhouses in each camp area, convenient sanitary stations, camper storage, tennis courts and children’s playground. A community building is available by reservation for functions. Leashed pets are permitted.

There is a full sit down service restaurant located in the lodge called The Water’s Edge Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Pier’s End Bar & Grille is also located inside the lodge and opens at 4pm Monday-Saturday. Along with beverages, you can get something from the grille.

Lakepoint Resort Marina Grill will prepare box lunches for various outings, including fishing, golf and picnics. This is also a wifi access hot spot.

Lakepoint Resort State Park has seven hiking trails to explore, an 18-hole chamionship caliber golf course open seven days a week, a saltwater pool, playground, picnic area overlooking Lake Eufaula with four large covered pavilions for rent, ultra modern marina with covered and uncovered slips for rent, Marina Store complete with fishing licenses, bait, tackle, snacks, drinks, clothing, boat rental and large shower/bathroom facilities for men and women.

Since Lakepoint Resort State Park is part of the Alabama Bass Trail, it is equipped with a weigh-in stage area as well as docking facilities for all size fishing tournaments.

Lakepoint State Resort Park provides the perfect setting for your wedding and reception. Various indoor and outdoor setting, scenic views and plenty of room for comfort. Even indoors, almost any size wedding can be accommodated.
