The Blue Springs State Park is one of many state parks that are within the Alabama State Park system. Blue Springs State Park is a place where you can spend your days relaxing in the sunshine, taking in a variety of different outdoor activities. You can spend your evenings camping with the family, eating good food and enjoying a great time.

There are a variety of different camping facilities at Blue Springs State Park. You can choose a modern campsite with all the amenities that you would need, or you can rough it at Blue Spring State Park by picking one of the more primitive campgrounds. Many campgrounds feature picnic shelters, tables, grills, and comfort stations. There is a playground on site as well. While you are at the park, you will be able to go fishing, swimming, and eat at the picnic areas. You can also explore the surrounding landscape.

The park operates from 7 am until sundown. Blue Springs State Park is open year round. The hours are 7am to sundown. The entrance fee for adults is $2 on weekdays, $3 on weekends. Children between 6 and 11 years of age costs $1 and children ages 5 and under get in free. Seniors age 62 and older, as well as disabled citiziens also get in the park for $1.

Also, if you really need to check back in with the office or other family members, there is free wireless internet access in the park office area. But with so much to explore in Blue Springs State Park, you will want to be outdoors with the family, getting to do all the things that you love about summer vacation in a state park facility.
